As you know, my Juvent Pro 1000 arrived at home last Monday. I have been using it twice daily since then and am happy to report that I continue to feel much better than before my first experience with it at Newk's.
 
I am 58 years old and have profound bilateral hip arthritis, with significant bone on bone friction in both joints and large osteophytes (bone spurs) as a result.
My mobility was severely limited and the pain was, at times, crippling. Multiple orthopedic surgeons have recommended joint replacement surgery.
 
Since beginning to use the Juvent Pro 1000 I have noticed far less hip discomfort, both day and night, weight bearing and non-weight bearing. Further, the associated muscle aches and cramping I would get as a compensatory effect of the joint limitation has virtually disappeared. I began to notice improvement within 24-48 hours and there has been no regression to date. The Juvent Pro is the only new variable in my daily regimen. Pain med use was intermittent and I have had two steroid injections in the last year; the most recent being far less effective than the first, which was done long before I started using the Juvent Pro.
 
I, like many physicians, am a skeptic by training. We are taught to question and prove any treatment modality offered and to consider any negative consequences of instituting it. Consequently, I have tried very hard to consider whether my perceived improvement could be due to a powerful placebo effect. Again, the Juvent Pro is the only new variable in my daily regimen and I want it to be effective. The result has been so remarkable to this point that I find it virtually impossible to accept that placebo effect could be the reason. I have seen the radiologic evidence of the extent of my hip disease and there is no question that my right hip has severe disease and my left, moderate to severe. It would be expected that I would have significant pain and reduced mobility.
I can state unequivocally that both have improved dramatically and I firmly believe that the Juvent Pro 1000 has been responsible.
 
I bought one after very limited experience with it and have been very happy with my choice. I am quite grateful that it was made available to us at Newk's to trial because I simply would not have known it was available otherwise. If it keeps me out of the operating room for as long as possible it will have been worth far more than the purchase price. Additionally, the support and genuine concern you and the company have shown for my well-being is impressive and so very much appreciated.
 
A painless, non-invasive therapy that is effective to this extent is truly a home run and I look forward to a future with far less pain and restriction.
